Manufacturing Process
Precision Forged
Through Process Excellence
At Austenite Metalworx Pvt Ltd, we believe that great products are the result of a well-defined and controlled manufacturing process. Our end-to-end hot forging process is built on a foundation of engineering expertise, rigorous quality control, and a commitment to industry standards.
From raw material sourcing to the final inspection, every step is designed to ensure performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Our Production Workflow
1. Material Procurement
We source high-grade raw materials exclusively from reliable, certified suppliers, ensuring they meet all industry-specific standards and mechanical requirements.
- - Supplier audits and quality checks
- - Material traceability documentation
- - Compliance with ASTM and equivalent specifications
2. Material Preparation
The raw material is cut, cleaned, and then heated to precise forging temperatures using advanced induction heaters. This ensures material pliability and reduces internal stress during forging.
- Controlled heating cycles
- Optimal temperature range monitoring
- Energy-efficient pre-heating systems
3. Forging
The heated material is shaped using our 1000 Tonne mechanical press, delivering consistent force and accuracy. Over the next 5 years, production will scale with two additional 1000 Tonne and one 1600 Tonne hydraulic press.
- Close-die hot forging technique
- Strict control over deformation rates
- Multiple hammer/press setups for varying product sizes
4. Finishing
After forging, each component undergoes finishing operations such as trimming, sizing, and surface refinement to achieve final dimensional and surface specifications.
- Automated trimming presses
- Calibrated sizing fixtures
- Surface cleaning and deburring
5. Quality Control & Inspection
Our quality control process is fully integrated into every production stage, ensuring each component meets or exceeds customer expectations.
In-House Testing
Every batch undergoes multi-level inspections for structural and dimensional integrity.
Dimensional Accuracy
Precision tools and gauges verify tolerances to industry specifications.
Material Integrity
We use non-destructive testing methods like ultrasonic testing to check for internal flaws or inconsistencies.
Surface Quality
Visual and instrumental checks confirm surface smoothness, consistency, and the absence of cracks or porosity.
Traceability & Documentation
All inspection data is recorded and linked with each production batch, ensuring full traceability and transparency.
